PROJECT
Summary
The Henrico County Fire Station #8 project involved constructing a modern facility with numerous amenities including bunk rooms, office space, a fitness area, gourmet kitchen, dining/day room, and outdoor patio. It also featured dual-access apparatus bays. As the general contractor, the scope included demolishing the original 1950s firehouse and providing temporary housing for operations during construction. A nod to the past was preserved by incorporating bricks from the old building into a commemorative number '8' on the new structure's exterior, ensuring continuous full-service capabilities throughout the project.
